Girls Junior Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball · Coach Danny Graham is Retiring

Surrounded by many family members, friends , coworkers, and current and previous players, Coach Graham was recognized tonight for his service and dedication to the Pirates. Many tears were shed tonight due to the love Graham has for the athletic program and the love so many have for him as a teacher, coach, mentor, and friend.

Coach Graham came to work at Lumberton High School in 1994. Through the years, his service and dedication has led him and the Pirate girls basketball team and the track team to achieve many things. He had a positive impact on many students, athletes and his peers as a teacher and coach. The following are a few accomplishments:

The program under his leadership produced many college players and several who played pro overseas.

Coach Graham will be missed as a teacher and coach, but we know he will be in the stands cheering on our Pirates for many years to come. Thank you Coach Graham! Your retirement is well deserved. Go Pirates!
