The website held the number one position in the state for website views in March BUT slipped out of the top 100 in the nation. Some might see that as being negative, but we know things were going on behind the scenes to help website views really skyrocket over the next few months of school.
Focus in March was placed on growing on social media. The Pirate athletics page on Facebook gained a lot of new followers and more fans are seeing tweets.
When an article, photos and/or alerts are posted on the website a link is automatically posted to Twitter and Facebook. We need LOTS of followers on Twitter and Facebook, so they will see the links, click on them and read about our awesome student-athletes on LumbertonPirates.org.
The community will not know what our student-athletes are accomplishing and how our teams are performing if we don’t tell them. We are working hard daily to keep the community informed.
