Multiple Teams · Pirate Alumnus Wins Bronze Metal at World Open in Japan

2006 Pirate graduate Michael Dudley was selected to the 2019 USA Bench National Team, and competed in Tokyo, Japan in the 2019 International Powerlifting Federation’s World Open. Dudley won a bronze metal with a lift of 540 pounds.

As a Pirate, he wrestled and ran cross country and track (regional qualifier in cross country and a 2X state qualifier in wrestling). Dudley is a Combat Medic in the United States Navy. He is an HM2 (Hospital Corpsman) and works with the Marine Corps as their first line of medical treatment on deployment and operations.
