Boys Varsity Wrestling, Coed Varsity Wrestling · Video from Pirate Wrestling Award Presentation

At the Pirate athletic awards Thursday night, the audience was in awe over the accomplishments of the Pirate wrestling team the 2018-2019 season.

A Pirate wrestling mom, who is very passionate about the sport and loves all the kids, was able to capture the presentation and share it. Please take a few minutes to view the presentation. You hear words and phrases over and over like “undefeated in county”, “county champ”, “conference champ”, “regional placer”, “regional champ”, “most outstanding”, “record holder”, “committed”, “state qualifier”, “state placer” and on and on. One wrestler was not able to be there due to camp and competing nationally.

Pirate wrestling keeps growing. If you are a student who is interested in wrestling, please approach Coach Bell or Coach Little. The sport, led by these coaches, will help you be successful not only as a wrestler but in life. Coach Bell was county coach of the year and Coach Little was NWCA’s assistant Coach of the Year. They are very passionate about the sport and the young men they mentor.
