Students now have a greater opportunity to earn college credit during high school through the Advanced Placed (AP) Exams. All 16 of the University of North Carolina Schools will now grant students who score a 3 or higher on an AP exam college credit. In the past, students had to score a 4, or in some cases a 5, in order to receive college credit.
The Advanced Placement program was “created by the College Board to offer college level curriculum and examinations to high school students”.
