Senior Ryley Floyd knows a thing or two about time management. Floyd is an honor student, a Super Pirate (plays 3 varsity sports), performs in many local studio productions, and volunteers to give back to the community.
Throughout her high school career, Floyd has taken honor and advanced placement courses and is on track to be an NC Scholar. She is a member of the Beta Club, a member of the National Honor Society, a chorus member, and she is the Student Government Association Parliamentarian. Many of you probably heard her amazing voice before several basketball games when she sang the National Anthem.
Floyd has played volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball and was a member of the bowling team during high school. She was a member of the bowling team and played volleyball and soccer her senior year.
She has a long list of volunteer work history including volunteering with the Red Cross during hurricane recovery after Hurricane Matthew and with Operation Blessing after Hurricane Florence. Floyd also volunteered as an event coordinator for local elementary school field days and volunteered at the Carolina Civic Center in concession, setting up and cleaning up after shows.
Ryley is shown in the middle in the photo below volunteering with Operation Blessing
Floyd was a Centerstage production member in “Fame” and “High School Musical” and a Carolina Civic Center Production Member in “A Robeson County Christmas Show” (3 years) and “Into the Woods”.
Way to go Ryley! Pirate Pride!
