Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball, Girls Varsity Volleyball · Lawrence Signs to Play at the College Level

Pirate volleyball player, and a senior captain, Keke Lawrence signed today to continue her volleyball career at the college level and represent the Sandhills Community College Flyers. She was surrounded by her family, coaches, teammates, athletic trainer, and administration. All Covid-19 rules were followed, including mask requirement and temperature check.

If you have dreams of playing at the college level, working hard in the classroom is a necessity. You can get to college without playing sports, but you can’t get there without putting in the work in the classroom. Lawrence understood this and has worked hard academically as well as on the court. She is a member of the National Beta Club and the National Honor Society. Lawrence plans to study sports medicine and become a trainer.

During her high school career, Lawrence has also represented the Pirates in basketball and in track and field.

Congratulations again Keke!
