Brandon Norris, a Pirate graduate and standout, is in his sophomore year at Brevard College. In just his second year as a Brevard Tornado, he is experiencing and accomplishing things that most college athletes only dream of. Last week, 5’8 170 pound Norris was named the USA South football special teams player of the week.

Pirate Wrestler of the Week

The wrestling coaching staff named Zyeal Lloyd Pirate Wrestler of the Week for his outstanding performance at Terry Sanford and Richmond. Lloyd, a a sophomore who stepped up to wrestle at the varsity level, went 6-0 for the week. He had all first period pins. Way to go! Go Pirates!
