26 Student-Athletes Lettered in Three Sports

Twenty-six student athletes were recognized at a luncheon last week for playing three varsity sports this school year. They received the Super Pirate award and were served a great meal. Pirate Athletes Excel in the Classroom

For the fall and winter sports, the Pirates had 6 teams qualify as scholar-athletic teams. A varsity team earns scholar-athletic recognition through NCHSAA by attaining a 3.1 unweighted GPA for that designated semester. The six teams were girls tennis, volleyball, cheerleading, girls cross country, girls basketball and the girls swim team. Congratulations to all of
