Pirate Wrestling Going Strong

Pirate Wrestling traveled to Richmond January 11th and came away with two big conference wins. Lumberton: 64 Richmond: 15 and Lumberton: 61 Scotland: 11. Pirate Wrestling Closes out 2017 with Several Placers in Charlotte

Lumberton Wrestling spent Friday and Saturday in Charlotte at the Bojangles Coliseum for the Holy Angels Invitational Tournament. The wrestlers met and left from Lumberton High School Friday morning at 5 am . Wed. 12/13 6pm Lumberton Vs. Purnell Swett … Robeson County Recreation Night

The Pirates and Rams will face off in a dual meet. We encourage all Robeson County recreation teams to come out. Kids wearing their recreation shirts will get in free and will wrestle during intermission at the match. We are hoping for a huge turnout and to make this an annual event. Go Pirates!

Lumberton comes out of its Tri-meet with St. Paul’s and Hoke county 2-0 December 5th. Lumberton Pirates are now 11-2 as a team. The pirates will host their own dual tournament on Saturday starting, December 9th at 9 am. Come out and support the Pirates!

Alumni Chris Kelly Named Most Outstanding Wrestler at Florida Tournament

Lumberton Alumni Chris Kelly traveled to Central Florida today. Kelly won the 133 pound weight class. Not only did he win his bracket, but he was also voted the Most Outstanding Wrestler (MOW) of the tournament! Coaches of the teams participating in the tournament vote on who should receive the MOW award. Way to go
