Jayla Oxendine Presented With Bowling Award

Jayla Oxendine was presented with a plaque by the Pirates for being the individual State Champion in Women’s bowling. She was recognized at the Pirate athletic awards along with the team. The team won the Robeson County Team Conference championship and went on to claim the state title. Congratulations again Jayla! Go Pirates!

26 Student-Athletes Lettered in Three Sports

Twenty-six student athletes were recognized at a luncheon last week for playing three varsity sports this school year. They received the Super Pirate award and were served a great meal. The luncheon was held in the Galleon Grille on campus, and the meal was prepared by Mrs. Rose Freeman’s culinary class (pictured below). Go Pirates!
