Morgan Britt, Class of 2019, has verbally committed to UNCW and will represent them on the softball field. As a freshman, Britt was an all-county and all-conference selection and led in the SEC with 110 strikeouts. . As a sophomore, she finished 18 and 5 with 220 strikeouts. Pirates Top All-County Softball Team Selections

Congratulations to sophomores Madison Canady and Morgan Britt for being named All – County Softball Co-Players of the Year! This is Canady’s second year receiving Player of the Year honors. Register Named All-County Softball Coach of the Year 2nd Consecutive Year

Coach Malcolm Register was named the 2017 All-County Softball Coach of the Year. This is the second consecutive year he has received this honor. Pirate softball won their first Slugfest title and their first Southeastern Conference title this season. Register received the North Carolina Athletic Director Association Region 4 Citation of the Year Award back
