26 Student-Athletes Lettered in Three Sports

Twenty-six student athletes were recognized at a luncheon last week for playing three varsity sports this school year. They received the Super Pirate award and were served a great meal. The luncheon was held in the Galleon Grille on campus, and the meal was prepared by Mrs. Rose Freeman’s culinary class (pictured below). Go Pirates!

Coach Jeff Kinlaw Named Boys Tennis SEC Coach of the Year

Coach Jeff Kinlaw was recently voted Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year for boys tennis by his coaching peers. The Pirates earned 2nd place in the SEC with a 10-3 overall record and 8-2 in the conference. Coach Kinlaw has coached boys tennis at Lumberton High School for three years and also coaches the girls
