Thorndyke, Britt, and Williamson Recognized at NCCCA State Championship

Pirate cheerleaders Lauren Thorndyke, Caleigh Britt, and Cameron Williamson were recognized Saturday at the 2018 NCCCA State Championship at Apex High School for making All-Region. They are invited to tryout for the 2018 All State team and cheer at the East West games. The tryout will be held February 11th. Congratulations again ladies! From Previous

Senior Student-Athlete Spotlight … Jeshaiah

Jeshaiah is a great example of a well-rounded student-athlete. She cheers on the Pirates during football and basketball and is a member of the track team. She works very hard in the classroom and is a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, and National Technical Honor Society. Jeshaiah gives back to the community

Think Pink Games Wednesday 11/29

Come out and support the varsity basketball teams! It is Think Pink night for breast cancer awareness. There will be a donation box at the door and the cheerleaders will raffle off a red velvet cake. Proceeds will go to cancer awareness. Our Pirates will be wearing pink socks to show support. See you then!

High School Cheerleading has Changed, but Pirate Pride Remains the Same

Cheerleading has changed a lot through the years, but Pirate Pride remains the same. The girls take pride in wearing the Pirate cheer uniforms. They make us proud, not only cheering on the sidelines, but have brought home many trophies and state and national titles through the years. You will see a few different faces
