Taylor Named Sandhills Athletic Conference Varsity Men’s Bowling Player of the Year

Senior Reece Taylor was recognized during halftime of the basketball game last night. Taylor was named Sandhills Athletic Conference Varsity Men’s Bowling Player of the Year. Sandhills Mens Conference Champions Third Year Straight

The Pirates traveled to Lafayette Lanes Thursday to compete in the Sandhills Conference Team Tournament. The boys are conference champions for the 3rd consecutive year! We are proud of our Pirates for winning the championship title, especially when competing in such a competitive conference. Go Pirates!

Pirate Athletics Week of 1/27 – 2/1

Big things are happening this week! There are a lot of opportunities to support the Pirates at home. Senior night and county wrestling championship is home, and Varsity basketball will finally play at home again back to back Thursday and Friday. Pirates Take Top Three Places in Sandhills Men’s Conference Singles

Three Pirate bowlers took the top 3 places in the Sandhills Athletic Conference individual championship at Lumberton Bowling Center on Thursday. Reece Taylor placed 1st! This was Taylor’s second straight Sandhills Athletic Conference title. Aaron Lee placed 2nd, and Jacob Britt placed 3rd. Team conference championships are January 30th at Lafayette Lanes in Fayetteville. State

Pirate Bowlers Headed to State

Senior Camden Locklear finished 7th in the county for boys individuals in the Robeson Bowling League and freshman Micah Locklear finished 8th. Camden bowled 522 and Micah 512 (3 games). Last week, Chloe Newberry placed 5th for Sandhills girls and Alexandria Zambrano finished 8th. All four will bowl at states at Sandhills Bowling Center in
