Blaine is Ready for the New Season

Lumberton Pirate graduate Kendall Blaine missed most games last year at Mount Olive due to a concussion. She is really excited about being able to hit the soccer field this year. Three seniors (Madison Sirmans, Brooke Taylor, and Harley Wilkerson) were named all-region by the North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association. Unveiling of Alumni Soccer Brick Memorial Scheduled for June 23rd

Pirates Soccer Alumni Games June 3rd

Alumni games will be played Saturday, June 3rd. The ladies will play starting at 5:30 and the men at 7:00. Any alumni who purchased a brick will be admitted free. The sidewalk will be unveiled that evening shortly before 7:00. Hope to see you there!

26 Student-Athletes Lettered in Three Sports

Twenty-six student athletes were recognized at a luncheon last week for playing three varsity sports this school year. They received the Super Pirate award and were served a great meal. The luncheon was held in the Galleon Grille on campus, and the meal was prepared by Mrs. Rose Freeman’s culinary class (pictured below). Go Pirates!

2012 Pirate graduate Nicole Bass is shown posing with her son Elijah and her parents Lisa and Frank Bass. Nicole was recognized senior day for lacrosse. She will graduate in May, 2017 with a degree in business. Nicole also represented St. Andrews University on the soccer field and has received numerous academic and athletic awards.
